Italy takes home the first medal at the European swimming championships that began today in Rome. This is the silver medal for the Italian team of synchronized swimming with a score of 90.3772.

The Italian team made up of Domiziana Cavanna, Linda Cerruti, Costanza Di Camillo, Costanza Ferro, Gemma Galli, Marta Iacoacci, Marta Murro and Enrica Piccoli was only surpassed by Ukraine with 92.5106. Bronze, on the other hand, for France with 88.0093.

Gold instead for Alberto Razzetti in the mixed 400 meters with a time of 4: 10.60. The third step of the podium is also Italian, with Pier Andrea Matteazzi winning the bronze in 4: 13.29. Second place went to the Hungarian David Verraszto, silver in 4: 12.58.

And then again the four male relay runners in the 4x200 freestyle - Marco De Tullio, Lorenzo Galossi, Gabriele Detti and Stefano Di Cola - stop in second place with a time of 7'06 "25, touching the comeback against Hungary.
