Even on the last day of competitions in the pool of the European swimming championships, Italy is stocking up on medals.
The Azzurri, rulers of the medal table of the competition underway in Rome, take home another six: two golds, four silvers and a bronze .
The most precious metal goes to the 4x100 mistra relay and to Thomas Ceccon , who wins the 100 backstroke race in 52 '' 21, three hundredths ahead of the Greek Christou, more detached instead the French Boyard.
The afternoon of the finals began with Leonardo Deplano's splendid silver in the 50 freestyle, the blue in 21.60 surrendered only to the English Proud, bronze for the Greek Gkolomeev.

Finally, the apotheosis with the mixed 4x100 men, the last race of the program, dominated by the Italians. Ceccon, Martinenghi, Rivolta and Miressi made a void behind them, giving more than 4 seconds of gap to France who finished second, bronze for Austria.
