173 days after cardiac arrest during Denmark-Finland at Euro 2020, Christian Eriksen is back on the pitch to train.

The Inter midfielder asked and obtained to be able to train alone in the sports center of Odense, the Danish team where the 29-year-old played at the beginning of his career.

A splendid news after the great fear: "Eriksen has contacted us and is now training alone," said an Odense spokesperson. "It's natural for him since he played here as a young man and lives around the corner. We are very happy to be able to provide training facilities for him," he added.

From local media reports, the midfielder showed up at 8 am with a personal trainer to do some mild runs, cone drills and shots on goal.

Last June, Eriksen was implanted with a subcutaneous cardiac defibrillator which prohibits him from taking to the field in official competitions in Italy. Instead, he will be able to take the field in leagues with different regulations, including the English, Dutch and Danish ones. Premature speeches at the moment, as Eriksen has yet to decide whether to resume playing or quit.
