The absences in the preseason of Dinamo Sassari continue to weigh heavily, as in Carbonia on the first day of the "Miners Cup" they gave way to Peristeri Athens of the legend Vassilis Spanoulis (75-52).

Without Diop (in addition to the long-term patients Tyree, Charalampopoulos, Bendzius and the new arrival McKinney, expected in Sardinia next week) and without coach Bucchi, busy in Brescia in a meeting with the referees organized by Legabasket, the blue and whites put up a courageous resistance to for more than three quarters, before falling towards the end weakened by tiredness and short rotations.

The good moment, however, does not tough, because Peristeri regains control in the 30th minute (55-45) and then definitively digs the furrow at the start of the final period, with the bomb from captain Kaselakis who writes the +17 and, in fact, closes the contest well in advance .

In the final there are no shocks: Dinamo receives a foreseeable knockout and turns the page in view of the return match, scheduled for Sunday (8pm) again in the mining centre. Diop could take part in the test (the last before the start of the championship), having remained out as a precaution due to a muscle strain.
