Dinamo Banco di Sardegna is strengthening its small forward line: after signing Canadian point guard Kaza Kajami-Keane, they've added Alessandro Grande , a 31-year-old point guard/point guard, 185 cm tall. This experienced A2 player has played for Rimini, Agrigento, Biella, Mantova, Latina, Verona, and Avellino, where he averaged 10.4 points and nearly 3 assists in 24 minutes of regular season play.
The new white-and-blue player stated: "I'm very happy to join a historic Italian basketball club. Coach Luca Vitali explained his ideas to me very clearly. I sensed enthusiasm, a desire to work, and a desire to build a strong identity that people can identify with. I arrive with a strong desire for revenge and the desire to play to win. I consider myself a player with character, who enjoys playing in a vibrant and highly participatory environment. From a technical standpoint, I love being aggressive, raising the pace of the game, and creating opportunities for both myself and my teammates."
Sporting Director Paolo Citrini explained the choice: "Alessandro is a player we really wanted for his ability to impact matches. He has talent, a good grasp of the ball, and excellent ball handling, characteristics that allow him to play multiple roles in the wing department. He's a player with personality, and to face a long and competitive championship like Serie A2, you also need players who know the category well and understand what it means to fight throughout the season .
