Italy already closes the match against the United States with the second singles match, the opening race of group E of the Davis Cup underway on the fast indoor Pala Alpitur in Turin.

An easy victory for the Azzurri, never questioned, with Sonego and Sinner who both defeated the American bombers Opelka and Isner in two sets.

In the first match it was Lorenzo Sonego from Turin who beat Opelka with a score of 6-3, 7-6. Then Sinner dismissed the practice by overwhelming Isner with an eloquent 6-2, 6-0. The US victory in the doubles is useless, Ram and Sock beat for 7-6, 6-2 Fognini and Musetti.

On Saturday the Azzurri face Colombia, in case of victory they are already in the quarter-finals. Sunday the group ends with the match between the South Americans and the USA.
