Woe to Cuba actor Gooding Jr.
The Oscar winner pleaded guilty before the Manhattan Supreme Court of kissing a waitress at a New York nightclub, the Magic Hour Rooftop Lounge, in 2018, without her consent. Not only that, the cameras showed that he had groped her legs and breasts several times.
The 54-year-old, Best Supporting Actor for "Jerry Maguire" in 1997, also admitted he was responsible for two other incidents of non-consensual contact in October 2018 and June 2019.
He therefore negotiated, avoiding arrest for the moment: he will have to continue the treatment for alcohol dependence for another six months.
If he respects the terms of the plea agreement, the sentence will be reduced to a violation. Otherwise he faces up to a year in prison.
