Fred Sinistra, Belgian kickboxing champion, has died at the age of 41.

The athlete, who has won several world and European titles in his career and who was considered "the strongest man in Belgium" is described as a convinced no vax and repeatedly, even on social media, would have denied the pandemic, defining Covid just "a little virus".

At the end of November he was hospitalized in Liege hospital - where he was almost forced to report to his coach - with Covid symptoms and breathing difficulties. After two weeks of intensive care, however, he had decided to leave the hospital, to take care of himself at home, with only the help of oxygen.

"Thanks for your support, I'll be back stronger than before," he announced to his followers. His condition worsened and Sinistra passed away.

After his death, his wife, however, spoke of fake news, writing on her husband's Instagram account: "He did not die of Covid, Fred would never have accepted that his end was exploited to spread fear and push for vaccination".
