Open clash on justice reform. In Palermo, during the last act of the ANM national congress, the final motion, approved by acclamation, is a clear signal to the minister Carlo Nordio.

«This is not a bad reform», states President Giuseppe Santalucia, but the officials oppose a clear and unanimous no to the separation of careers and the revision of the CSM : «The Constitution cannot be touched».

And Giuseppe Conte attacks the government head-on: «It delegitimizes the action of the robes and with the reform it implements an authoritarian turning point which has similarities with the democratic rebirth project of the P2 ».

Justice therefore ignites the electoral campaign. The Ligurian affair remains in the background, the M5s leader does not mention it from the stage in Palermo but the reference is clear: « There are the conditions for a new tangentopoli, the parties should clean up their own internal affairs . Let's not just let judicial investigations dictate the rules."

For her part, the dem secretary Elly Schlein claims: «We are the first to distance ourselves from corruption, on the other hand , when a regional president is arrested the ministers start acting as court-appointed lawyers ».

Tajani: «We are moving forward on the reform, we have made a commitment to the voters» . As for Toti, any resignation "is his choice, I think it is premature now."

Maurizio Molinari of the League underlines the need to reform justice, "even with a different role for the prosecutor, who in other countries responds to the minister's directives". And Matteo Salvini, defining Conte's words as "very serious", invites him to a television duel based on the one that will be broadcast on "Porta a Porta" between Elly Schlein and Giorgia Meloni.
