Max Verstappen wins the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Canada .

On the Montreal street circuit the world champion's Red Bull preceded the Ferrari of Carlos Sainz , while in third place the Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton crossed the finish line.

Starting from the back of the grid, Charles Leclerc's Ferrari closed the comeback in fifth place behind Russell's Mercedes in fourth.

Ocon's Alpine sixth ahead of teammate Alonso and Bottas's Alfa Romeo. Ninth the other Alpha of Zhou Guanyu. The Aston Martin of Stroll closes the top ten.
