Another trouble for Charles Leclerc , after the disappointments of the last races.

The Ferrari driver will in fact start at the bottom of the grid at the Canadian GP in Montreal , given that the Maranello team has decided to change parts of its engine again beyond the limit allowed per season.

Only eight out of 22 races were disputed but Ferrari has already reached the maximum authorized quota for the various engine components of the Monegasque driver's single-seater, third in the championship with 34 points behind Max Verstappen (Red Bull).

During the second free practice session, Leclerc had already been informed of a ten-place penalty for Sunday due to the replacement of an electronic control module in his engine, the fourth element of this type while three are authorized.

Today, however, at the start of the third free practice session and before qualifying, Ferrari has again introduced new elements, including a fourth internal combustion engine and a fourth turbocharger, earning more penalty places .

Leclerc, with a brand new engine, will therefore start at the bottom of the grid hoping to climb as much as possible.
