Camusso in Cagliari: "Government without industrial policy, Sardinia penalized by energy costs."
The Democratic Party senator: "Minister Urso is known for being flabbergasted by every dispute."Video di Umberto Zedda
"Sardinia is well aware of today's industrial crisis, because much of the difficulty is caused by energy costs and a lack of investment." This is one of the key points made by Democratic Party Senator Susanna Camusso, in Cagliari today, where she attacked the government on industrial policy.
Camusso describes a government "devoid of industrial policy tools," criticizing the end of the Industry 4.0 initiative without an alternative strategy to support businesses and production. Also under scrutiny are cuts to the automotive sector and the management of national industrial disputes.
"The minister (Adolfo Urso, ed.) is known for being flabbergasted by every dispute," says the senator, denouncing the lack of vision to address the crisis affecting Italy's main production sectors.
Ample space was devoted to the situation in Sardinia. According to Camusso, the island's businesses continue to suffer from a significant competitive gap, primarily related to energy costs. "Nothing has been done to reduce the cost gap between businesses in our country and the rest of the world," he emphasized, recalling the appeals launched in recent years by the manufacturing sector and Confindustria.
According to the senator, solutions exist, but "industrialization tools and options" are lacking, while "all the country's major sectors are in crisis."
