Chiara Miscali, the promising 21-year-old writer from Ardauli, who already in 2023 came within a whisker of winning the Campiello Giovani on the stage of La Fenice in Venice, is trying again.

The jury of the prestigious literary competition, reserved for stories by junior authors (15-21 years), has chosen her among the semifinalists of the new edition. Miscali will try to enter the top five that will be announced on Friday, April 4 with the short story “Fa male, il mare d'inverno”.
The Sardinian author (already winner of the Scerbanenco Prize in Lignano) will have to compete with Valeria Arieti (Tuscania), 19 years old, Giacomo Bonato from Arquà Petrarca, 17 years old, Giulia De Masi from Milan, 21 years old, Giacomo Masut (Martellago), 18 years old, Elena Mora from Parma (17 years old), Giorgia Ruggiero from Foggia, 17 years old, Mattia Schifaudo from Palermo, 20 years old, Niccolò Alessandro Tavian (Selvazzano Dentro), 21 years old, Aurora Vannucci (Parma), 19 years old, Sergio Vitaliti (Belpasso), 21 years old and Alessandro Vitullo from Rome, 20 years old.
