After three wins out of three away games, Cagliari suffered a disappointing defeat in Monza: the Brianza team won 4-0, running riot in the second half.

WHO'S GOING UP

Kevin Carlos

A mere half an hour wasn't enough to equalize or, presumably, overturn the current attacking hierarchy. However, it did allow him to send a message to the coach regarding the rest of the season. He came on with the right spirit and had a positive impact on the match. He was eager to shine, and his efforts were met with general mediocrity. He didn't leave his mark, it's true. At least he tried. He looked for the goal and found more than one interesting opportunity. Athletically, he also seemed on point. See you next time.

WHO IS GOING DOWN

Daniel Maldini

A lost ball in midfield sparked the move that gave Monza the lead and likely changed the outcome of Monza-Cagliari. It was more of a lack of concentration, and it must be said he wasn't particularly lucky on the occasion. The point is, he did little to remedy the situation. He was exhausted when not in possession, lacking any ideas in the final thirty meters. A dull game, lacking in results after scoring continuously in the previous four. Perhaps he was struggling with the presence of Nzola and Mendy up front and the defensive burden. Or, much more simply, he was having a bad night. It happens.
