New weekend of great music at the Teatro Massimo which hosts the appointments of "S'ard Festival 2022 - The music of the dancers of the stars", a program full of new recordings, previews, meetings and music from the world.

Tonight, Friday 13th, at 9pm the extraordinary pianist Rita Marcotulli arrives, the undisputed lady of Italian jazz and virtuoso much appreciated on the island for her collaborations with the most important Sardinian jazz players.

The career of this exceptional pianist and composer, born in 1959, is full of international successes and has played with great celebrities of the world music system, from Chet Baker to Noa and many others.

Her precocious artistic depth allowed her to win in 1987 the title of Musica Jazz magazine as the best talent of the year.

Among her many creations she dealt with the soundtrack of the film "Basilicata coast to coast" with which she won the Ciak D'oro in 2010 as the best soundtrack.

The first set of the concert will be entrusted to the voice of Francesca Corrias, accompanied by her Sunflowers, to propose "De Diora", an album released last autumn, full of Campidanese memories and images with a jazzy atmosphere between Mediterranean and Saudade rhythms.

Tomorrow, again at 9 pm, another great artist of the female universe, an interpreter beloved by the Sardinian public for her multifaceted activities, Ambra Pintore , singer, author and presenter of the TV program "The 5 senses of art" broadcast on Videolina every Saturday in the early evening.

With his recital "Terre del Return" , he proposes a work that in recent years has been enriched with refined atmospheres and precious travel companions, from Roberto Scala (bass and accordion) to Federico Valenti (guitars), from Diego Milia (violin, mandolin, flute, sax, bouzouki, harmonica), to Giorgio Rizzi (percussion) up to the clarinetist and saxophonist Marco Argiolas.
