Volotea's new direct air link between Sardinia and the Côte d'Azur is operational as of today.

From Cagliari airport you can fly to Nice twice a week , every Monday and Thursday.

Furthermore, the launch of the new route, again operated by Volotea, between Cagliari and Lille and the resumption of flights to Hanover, Bordeaux and Marseille are scheduled for July.

In total there are 20 destinations that can be reached with Volotea at the Cagliari airport , 9 in Italy, 8 in France, 1 in Spain, 1 in Germany and 1 in the Czech Republic.

"With the new flight to Nice, passengers departing from Sardinia will be able to reach with comfortable and direct flights a new destination in France where they can organize a holiday to discover the Côte d'Azur and the beautiful French Riviera, full of charm and glamor", commented Valeria Rebasti , Volotea Country Manager Italy & Southeastern Europe.

"It should not be forgotten - adds Rebasti - that, in view of the summer, numerous domestic and international routes departing from the airport will be reactivated and that, finally, the start of a new route from Cagliari to Lille is confirmed for July 7. At the same time, the carrier aims to support the economy of the regional territory, favoring the traffic of incoming tourists, wishing to visit the whole of Sardinia ".
