The Unipol Domus is sold out tonight for Cagliari-Roma , with over 16,000 people present to watch the rossoblù debut in Serie A. But among the spectators there cannot be a family from Cagliari, who had regularly purchased four tickets in the Curva Sud Inferiore . The reason? Two of the four members, including a seven-year-old girl, were born in Rome: an element of exclusion, according to the provisions of the Public Security Authorities (in this case the Cagliari Police Headquarters). Even if, in this case, they are people who live and reside in the Sardinian capital. "We are very indignant, angry and sorry: it's absurd", the bitterness of Albachiara Deligia, one of the four people involved. "We are Sardinians and from Cagliari, why can't we go to see the match at the stadium? Is it a crime to be born in Rome? We can't do this, we had even brought forward our return from vacation. It was awful having to explain it to the kids."

The episode

The tickets were purchased in the last few days, when sales opened, through TicketOne and the procedure was successful. Then, via email, the cancellation was communicated . The family (a little girl, a three-year-old boy and the two parents) were thus denied the possibility of attending Cagliari-Roma, with the tickets also invalidated for the two members who were not born in Rome . They also tried to contact Cagliari Calcio, which however has no responsibility as it is not a matter of the provisions decided by the company. And with an added bitterness: the refund will arrive, but not of the presale rights.

This is not the only case, however, as Matteo Nardacci, born in Rome but resident in Alghero for 13 years, tells us. For him and his 15-year-old son, born in Imperia, the doors of the Domus will remain closed: «We have always gone to follow the games and nothing has ever happened. We bought the tickets on August 8, on the 16th we received the news of the cancellation». A great disappointment for the two fans since «the only constraint at the time of purchase was residency in Lazio».
