The dark period of Cagliari Primavera continues. This morning the rossoblù took to the field at the Valentino Mazzola stadium in Orbassano to play the fifth day of the championship against Torino. The result was not the best: the Cagliari team surrendered 1-0 to their peers from the Granata.
The match was characterized by slow and slow rhythms. The first chance came in the 16th minute with Gabellini who had the first chance to scare the islanders, Soldati sent the ball to the corner. In the 20th minute Gabellini again found the space to score the lead, making good use of Soldati's marking error. A timid reaction from Cagliari came only in the 39th minute with Sulev, but his conclusion died in the arms of Plaia. In the second half Pisacane's boys tried to make themselves a little more dangerous, trying to equalize the match, but without succeeding.
In the 53rd minute, Sulev takes a free kick, the ball ends up out. Three minutes later, first Bolzan and then Trepy twice, appear in the area of Plaia, who lowers the shutter and denies the equalizer. In the 70th minute, Torino comes close to doubling the score with a very dangerous cross-shot by Marchioro, which however finds the intersection of the posts. A minute later, Trepy is back with a personal action, Plaia saves again. At the triple whistle, it is the Piedmontese who celebrate, while Vinciguerra and his teammates take another defeat, already looking ahead to the next home match.
