The match between Cagliari Primavera and their peers from Lecce ended in a 2-2 draw at the CRAI Sport Center in Assemini . The rossoblù, who had taken the lead in the 15th minute of the first half, saw themselves caught up and then overtaken by the Apulians, only to then manage to earn a point thanks to the second goal by the home team, scored by Franke .
The match started off at a slow pace, with the two teams preferring to study each other rather than hurt each other. In the 15th minute, however, Pisacane 's boys kicked into high gear with Malfitano 's through ball to Achour who, from the edge, unlocked the game, giving his team the lead. Just five minutes later, the Giallorossi responded: Yilmaz 's cross and Bertolucci , well positioned at the far post, leveled the score. They barely had time to process the goal conceded and in the 24th minute, Gorter , with a curling right-footer from distance, punished Cagliari again, putting the ball under the top corner and beating an innocent Iliev with a great goal. Despite some reaction from the islanders, the result remained unchanged until the end of the first half and the dressing rooms were closed with a 2-1 score for Lecce .
In the second half, Arba and his teammates started with a more aggressive attitude. In the 52nd minute, Langella sent in a free kick from 25 meters, Franke headed it but missed the target by a hair's breadth. In the 61st minute, Grandu crossed a good ball for Arba and, also with a header, came close to equalizing. A few minutes later, Arba , from a few steps away, saw his shot saved on the line by Pehlivanov . In the 64th minute, Achour 's free kick, went just wide. Ten minutes later, Simonetta also tried with another free kick, but it went high. In the 76th minute, following a corner kick in favor of Cagliari, Trepy managed to serve Franke who made no mistake and made it 2-2.
Cagliari does not give up and tries some other incursions into the opposing ranks, but fails to find the advantage. The last thrill comes in full recovery, a handful of seconds from the final whistle, 93' on the clock, with a cross from Grandu for Achour , the number 9 from the island kicks badly and misses the opportunity to bring home the victory.
