After the mock draw against Empoli a week ago, Cagliari Primavera fell at Torino. The rossoblù lost 3-1 against the granata, playing a decidedly subdued second half compared to what they did in the first 45'.

The match starts after the quarter of an hour. First Savva scares Iliev in the 16th minute. Then Cagliari responds two minutes later with Kingstone who takes advantage of the mistake made by Rettore but, in front of Bellocci, is hypnotized. Torino, however, pushes on the external lanes. In the 21st minute Njie serves a cross for Savva, the Granata center forward volleys from a good position with the ball ending up at the bottom. In this phase it is a continuous back and forth between the two teams. In the 28th minute, Toro came close to taking the lead from a corner with Njie's header. Pisacane's Cagliari are unfazed and Marcolini, in the 31st minute, challenges Bellocci with a poisonous low shot.

Balanced match – In the 32nd minute Torino broke the deadlock with a great move : Ciammaglichella saw the corridor on the left side for Antolini, the Granata winger crossed into the middle for the arrival of Savva who shot on goal with first intention. Cagliari's reaction is imminent. Vinciguerra won a penalty kick in the 35th minute. Carboni appears from the spot and displaces Bellocci, thus re-establishing the balance. The goal shakes Pisacane's team, Sulev reaches the conclusion a second time which comes out narrowly. In the Sardinians' best moment , Torino took the lead again in the 42nd minute with Franzoni . One minute before the break, Catena almost made it 2-2 with a shot just wide.

Garnet-colored second half – In the second half Toro entered with greater competitive anger and in the 53rd minute they took the lead to 3-1: Catena committed a naive foul in the area on Ciammaglichella. Captain Dellavalle is cold from the spot. In the 59th minute Cagliari risks closing the gap on the counterattack with Kingstone. The Zambian striker, after having crossed the entire pitch and skipping past Bellocci, shoots towards goal but finds the rebound on Antolini's line. However, it is not clear whether the Torino defender was behind the goal line. The hosts, strengthened by the result, play with more carefreeness and come close to 4-1 on several occasions but Iliev performs a couple of miracles, also saving a penalty kick from Njie in the 76th minute. In the final Torino manages the result without problems.

Next weekend the rossoblù will take on Frosinone. The Ciociaria team occupies last place with 3 points.
