Marco Mancosu is the new coach of the Cagliari Under 18 team.
Having left the role of footballer, after the salvation obtained last season with Claudio Ranieri , Mancosu has decided to undertake the path of coach, keeping faith with the island club and taking charge of the growth of new young promises. Helping him in this task is another former Cagliari player , Francesco Pisano , invested with the appointment of his assistant.
The Cagliari U18 team began their league campaign on September 8th against Bologna , drawing 1-1. The rossoblù boys then faced Genoa (3-3 draw), Torino (2-1 defeat), Milan (1-0 victory), Fiorentina (4-4 draw) and Parma (1-4 defeat). The next scheduled match is the away match, on Monday 21st at 4pm, against Monza . The Cagliari team currently sits in eleventh place in the standings with 6 total points.
