In football, as in life, there are moments when you simply have to accept situations that have already been defined and paths that are changing without you being able to intervene. You can always say no, that's true, but with the risk, if not the certainty, of being sidelined or no longer feeling like an integral part of a project. It's the reality of the situation, and it must be accepted.

A bittersweet post from Sebastiano Luperto, who left Cagliari after a year and a half of playing at the heart of the Rossoblu defense to join Cremonese.

"To the Cagliari fans, I want to say thank you. Thank you for the affection, warmth, and support you've shown me every day, on and off the pitch. A bond I'll never forget and will always carry with me," added the defender.

"Now a new chapter begins," the post continues, "I'll face it as I always have: with total commitment, respect, and heart. I'll give it my all, starting over once again, with the desire to show who I really am. Football moves fast and, too often, ignores people. In the end, what remains are the true bonds, few but profound, and the emotions we experience together."
