The concert season of the Opera House continues with a debut on the podium.

Jonathan Brandani, multifaceted musician and refined musicologist with an international background, is expected on Friday 18th (at 8.30pm) and Saturday 19th February (at 7pm) as conductor of the Cagliari theater orchestra.

Born in 1983, originally from Lucca, Brandani has been the artistic director of Calgary Opera (Canada) since 2021 and for a few days the new artistic director of the Teatro del Giglio in Lucca.

In the Sardinian capital, the performance is based on scores by Haydn, Mozart and Honegger, two famous pages of eighteenth-century musical classicism that interact with an interesting piece from 1920. The musical program includes the performance of: Symphony n. 101 in D major "The clock" Hob.I: 101 by Franz Joseph Haydn; Pastorale d'été H. 31 by Arthur Honegger; Symphony n. 38 in D major "Prague" K. 504 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

The show has a total duration of approximately one hour and 30 minutes, including the intermission.

Young people under 30 and the disabled are subject to 50 percent reductions on the purchase of season tickets and tickets. Further discounts are provided for organized groups.
