" They have been complicated weeks , we have suffered less fair attacks than we might have expected: having so many friendly faces around me is very important. It is my first outing after that damned Sunday in Venice . And I consider this a restart ".
Thus the president of Cagliari, Tommaso Giulini , on the sidelines of the naming of the new grandstand of the Primavera field , in the sports center of Assemini, to his father Carlo Enrico Giulini .
A long-awaited title: “We couldn't do it before because - explained Giulini - despite being ready for use, it arrived on July 1st after a year and a half. And this gives us an idea of how difficult it is to build a stadium. If it takes a year and a half for a grandstand, imagine for a great work. This grandstand was created because we focus on the Primavera and because this field can also be used for the Primavera's friendlies with a beautiful setting for the public ".
Giulini closed his inauguration speech by drawing a profile of his father and recalling his history in Sardinia in the 1950s with the first fluorine mines in the Gerrei: "He is an honorary citizen of Silius - Giulini joked - now he will also be of Asseminello" .
