Cagliari didn't go beyond a 0-0 draw against Cittadella, in a game that the rossoblùs played for practically the entire second half with the extra man due to Salvi's expulsion.

Ranieri restarts from the starting line-up with Como, replacing the injured Pavoletti with Falco, who is preferred over Luvumbo.

Just the former Red Star, between the 13th and 14th minute, served Dossena twice, but in both circumstances the defender's header was defused by goalkeeper Kastrati. In the 15th minute Falco himself tries, but once again the home goalkeeper saves himself.

Cittadella tries too, in the 16th minute, with a counterattack by Mastrantonio that ends up on the back.

Cagliari controlled without difficulty, Radunovic took no risks, while on the other side it was again Falco, following an assist from Zappa, who hit the outside of the net from a good position.

In the 42nd minute, the rossoblùs pass: Dossena's side for Lapadula, conclusion save and Zappa scores on the rebound. But the referee canceled due to an obvious initial offside by Dossena. The first half ends like this.

In the second half, after 7', the Cittadella remained in ten for the second yellow card collected by Salvi. Cagliari, however, didn't go beyond a shot by Azzi that Kastrati saved without problems and a sterile ball possession. Ranieri waited and made the first substitutions only in the 35th minute, with the introductions of Millico and newcomer Griger in place of Azzi and Zappa. In the final, space also for Rog, Luvumbo and Barreca, with a Cagliari unbalanced forward. But the home side's wall didn't give in and the match ended 0-0.
