Second defeat in a row for Cagliari, who lost with the same result as last Friday in Udine: Bologna won 0-2 at the Domus with a goal in each half. Bad performance by Davide Nicola's team.
Cagliari starts strong but it's an illusion, not even thirty seconds and Zortea goes to kick with a deflection into the corner. In the 4th minute there is a sensational double opportunity: Piccoli, served from the left, crosses with a deflection by Lucumí that forces Skorupski to save on the line by diving, on the rebound Gaetano tries three times to push the ball into the net but the visiting defense saves itself with Miranda (the first two) and Freuler (the last) . In the 13th minute Prati wins a free kick from the left, beats Marin with Bologna's parry and Viola serves Gaetano for a high shot from the edge.
Bologna who takes the field from the 14th minute, served Miranda on the left for a shot blocked in the corner. Shortly after a rebound between Luperto and Orsolini favors the latter in the area, on his shot Scuffet blocks. A triple substitution followed for Nicola: Lapadula, Felici and Adopo for Viola, Zortea and Prati. But the shock didn't arrive, on the contrary, Bologna continued to find play, especially with the unleashed Ndoye.
For the last quarter of an hour also Luvumbo and Augello, for Gaetano and Obert. Cagliari collects corners in series, without ever managing to be dangerous. And the three minutes of recovery do not change the story of the match.
