Cagliari has completed the loan transfer of defender Nicola Pintus to Serie C club Pianese. The 2005-born defender, who recently returned to the Rossoblu after several months at Cosenza, will have the opportunity to continue his development. The transfer is on loan until June 30, 2027, with no option to buy.
Born in Cagliari, Pintus grew up in the Rossoblu's youth academy and—with Fabio Pisacane on the bench—won the Coppa Italia Primavera in April 2025, starting in the final against AC Milan. On May 18 of last year, he fulfilled his dream of making his Serie A debut for Cagliari , in the home win against Venezia that secured survival.
Following his professional debut, Pintus renewed his contract with Cagliari until 2029 and was part of the Rossoblu first team until early February , when he was sent to Cosenza. However, he made only two appearances for the Calabrian club in Group C of Serie C.
