Cagliari locks down one of its most promising youngsters: for the Sassari-born Michele Carboni, playmaker of the Primavera, a new agreement that will bind him to the rossoblù club until 30 June 2027.

At the age of 15, Carboni entered the rossoblù academy, growing season after season. In his first year in Primavera he took the field 27 times and contributed to the reach of the playoff semi-finals. In the championship that just ended, he carved out a leading role for himself: with 7 goals and 6 assists in 29 games he was one of the architects of salvation.

His performances also brought him into the orbit of the first team: he was even called up by coach Claudio Ranieri.
