One of the great names of the national literary scene arrives in Cagliari for an unmissable double appointment between storytelling and theater.
The prophetic vision and civil commitment of Pier Paolo Pasolini, but also the still unsolved "mystery" of his tragic end, will be the focus of "PPP / An Italian Secret" by and with Carlo Lucarelli , a production of the company La Fabbrica Illuminata and Il Crogiuolo, on Saturday 5 November at 8:30 pm at the Teatro Massimo in Cagliari on the occasion of the centenary of the birth of the unforgettable intellectual, poet and writer, as well as playwright and filmmaker.
Prelude to the pièce will be the highly anticipated meeting with the journalist and writer , host of broadcasts such as "Blu Notte" as part of the fourth edition of the reading promotion festival "Legger_ezza 2022", the project of the CeDAC and the Multidisciplinary Circuit of Entertainment since I live in Sardinia, chaired by Antonio Cabiddu, who focuses the spotlight on contemporary texts and authors and on writing as a tool for interpreting reality, between past, present and future.
Before the show, at 7 pm, in a conversation with the journalist of L'Unione Sarda Maria Francesca Chiappe, the artistic director Valeria Ciabattoni wanted the presentation of the novel-investigation of the same name, Rizzoli's best seller, written by the famous writer and well-known face of tv in 2015, an extraordinary work in which the search for the truth about a heinous crime is intertwined with the tormented events of post-World War II Italy, between the enthusiasm and illusions of the economic boom and the season of the years of lead.
After the book , the staging in the great hall : a compelling narration, an itinerary in memory on the thread of emotions where the narrating voice of Carlo Lucarelli intertwines with the notes, with an anthology of author's songs signed by artists such as Francesco De Gregori and Claudio Lolli, interpreted by Elena Pau and Alessandro Nidi alongside the ballads of Giovanna Marini.
A bewitching portrait of an artist that is tinged with the colors of yellow and noir: a journey back in time to find Pier Paolo Pasolini and rediscover the immense heritage of his literary and cinematographic works and the revolutionary strength of his thought and his art.
