A goal in each half condemns Cagliari to their third defeat of the season. Atalanta wins 2-0 with goals from Lookman and Pasalic.
Ranieri confirms the three-man defence, with Obert replacing the suspended Wieteska, while Shomurodov plays up front alongside Luvumbo.
Cagliari suffers against Atalanta, who comes close to scoring several times. Then in the 33rd minute, the Bergamo players pass with de Ketelaere who escapes the rossoblù defense, service for Lookman and 1-0.
