Charles Leclerc's Ferrari won the British Grand Prix. At Silverstone, the Monegasque driver finished ahead of George Russell's Mercedes, who finished second, and his teammate and local hero Lewis Hamilton's Ferrari, who finished third.

The other silver star, led by World Championship leader Kimi Antonelli, finished in sixteenth place after suffering suspension problems towards the end while fighting for the victory.

The GP ended with all the drivers lined up behind the safety car following the accident in the final laps involving Max Verstappen's Red Bull.
