Edoardo Bove has left the intensive care unit of the Careggi hospital in Florence , where he had been hospitalized since Sunday after feeling ill during the Fiorentina-Inter match .
The general manager of the Tuscan club Alessandro Ferrari reported this to Mediaset microphones before the start of Fiorentina-Empoli in the Coppa Italia: « Edoardo is fine, he is in shape, he is recovering and we are happy. We must have patience and respect for him , he has changed department and is in the right hands, things are going better. He has left intensive care, to be precise he has moved to a department called Utic, a lower level of sensitivity ».
During the Franchi match, the Viola fans, the players and the club paid heartfelt tribute to him. An image of the midfielder appeared on the big screen with the message “Come back soon Edo, we love you” . His teammates gathered in the middle of the pitch, along with all the medical staff, and unrolled a sheet with the words “You didn't want the shirt, here's the banner, Edo we're waiting for you” written on it. Meanwhile, the Fiesole fans, with thousands of cards, made up the number 4, like the shirt worn by the player until now, to the applause of the entire audience present. And he, Bove, was tuned in in front of the TV in his hospital room.
