Max Verstappen takes pole position at the Belgian Grand Prix. But starting in front of everyone will be Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz .

The Red Bull driver set the fastest lap in qualifying (with a time of 1'43 "665), but due to a penalty he must leave the very first row to the Spaniard , who set the second time (1'44 "297).

The reigning world champion, therefore, will have to come back from 15th place.

Third time for the Red Bull of the Mexican Sergio Perez (1'44 "462), while the other Ferrari, that of the Monegasque Charles Leclerc , obtained the fourth time (1'44" 553), but again for the penalties, he will start starting from 16th place.

Starting after Sainz and Perez will therefore be Fernando Alonso , sixth in qualifying with Alpine, but thanks to the penalty also of team mate Esteban Ocon, he can get back on the grid.
