Beijing: short track, Arianna Fontana silver. Bronze for Italy in the men's 5000 meters relay

Arianna Fontana records: the blue is silver medal in the short track 1500 meters.

For her it is number 11, one more than Stefania Belmondo; no blue has ever done better.

But Italy also won the bronze medal in the 5000 meter short track relay at the Beijing Olympics in the photo finish.

The Azzurri won third place on the podium by beating the Russian relay. Gold went to Canada, silver to Korea.
