Dinamo wants to raise its head after four consecutive defeats, before its permanence in Serie A is compromised. On Sunday in Varese (5.30pm) the team from Sassari will try to react to the negative moment with three almost carbon copy defeats, against Reggio Emilia, Treviso and Cantù.
Coach Veljko Mrsic said: "It's true we've lost four in a row, but we've come close to winning three of them. We need to be more responsible in every possession, especially in attack, where we've lost too many balls and we need to be more aggressive on defense."
Varese is in the playoff race. They've won their last three home games, against Brescia, Treviso, and Tortona. "At home, they play hard, at a high pace, and with a lot of three-point shots, so we need to focus on our defensive transition."
In the first leg of the championship, the Lombardy team conquered the PalaSerradimigni 105-102 thanks above all to the 16/31 three-point shooting percentage and the 54 points of the Alviti-Nkamohua duo.
