On the occasion of the BIT in Milan, the Minister of Tourism Daniela Santanchè , together with the President of the Calabria Region Roberto Occhiuto , the CEO of ENIT SpA Ivana Jelinic and the Tourism Councilors of the Sicily Region Elvira Amata and the Sardinia Region Franco Cuccureddu , presented the press conference “Welcome to Southern Italy. Sicily, Calabria and Sardinia: the Wonder does not stop”.
During the event, which took place inside the ENIT pavilion, Minister Santanchè announced that the ministry will allocate 5 million euros to support tourism in the areas affected by Cyclone Harry.
Furthermore, together with the CEO of ENIT, he highlighted that, at the ITB fair in Berlin (scheduled for March 3-5), the Ministry of Tourism, ENIT, and the affected regions will present promotional activities to support the destinations hit by Cyclone Harry in January.
