Cagliari lost 2-1 against Lazio, but the game was heavily influenced by Ayroldi's poor refereeing. With a quarter of an hour to go he awarded a penalty for a foul by Zortea on Pellegrini, then sent off Mina and Adopo for a double yellow at the same time.
