Arzachena, in Porto Cervo “Smeralda Holding Blue Day”

With “Smeralda Holding Blue Day”, organized by Marina di Porto Cervo, an asset of the Smeralda Holdin Group, “AgendaBLU 2024” opens today, the first of 7 days for the environment promoted by the Municipality of Arzachena. Today's appointment is dedicated to cleaning the seabed of the Marina Nuova and the Porto Vecchio of Porto Cervo.

All under the supervision of the Coast Guard and with the voluntary contribution of professional divers and various associations participating in the project. «As Smeralda Holding we wanted to once again actively contribute to the protection of the landscape and the environment in which we operate», commented Mario Ferraro, CEO of Smeralda Holding. «Initiatives like this confirm the Group's attention to the protection and attractiveness of the Costa Smeralda through joint work involving institutions, associations, companies, citizens and tourist operators towards achieving this important common objective».

The meeting for "Smeralda Holding Blue Day" is set at 8.30 am in the square in front of the slipway of the Porto Cervo Shipyard for a pre-dive operational briefing; the end of the cleaning operations is scheduled for lunch time, when a buffet will be served to all volunteers in Piazza della Marina, offered by Marina di Porto Cervo and Nelson Pub, for the drinks part, and organized with the support of 'Association for the Social-APS Porto Cervo.
