«With a lot of energy and participation we are supporting and carrying forward, as local administrators, what can be considered the greatest opportunity in the history of the enhancement of our archaeological site: the park of Petroglyphs. The path towards Unesco continues».

These are the words pronounced by the mayor of Cheremule, Antonella Chessa, in presenting the event entitled "Art and Architecture in prehistoric Sardinia. Pre-Nuragic monumental archeology towards Unesco: the Petroglyph Park" which took place yesterday in the small center of Meilogu.

An appointment that received great appreciation from the participants who gathered in the pine forest area, at the playground, for the volcanic excursion and the visit to the archaeological site by some environmental excursion guides.

Immediately after, at the cultural center "Antonio Spanedda" the works that saw the intervention of some experts in the landscape and archaeological sector of Sardinia.
