"The Sardinian CGIL is today calling on Palazzo Chigi for the Sulcis region. Curious: just the day after the government resolved a matter that had dragged on for years, the RWM Italia case in Domusnovas, which—having overcome the stalemate imposed by President Todde and her yellow-red majority—will guarantee the permanent employment of 350 workers and 250 new hires. But where was the CGIL when it needed to urge the Region to make a decision, assuming clear responsibility to the Sulcis workers? Not a word, not even a murmur, about 600 jobs." This is what the vice president of the Brothers of Italy group in the Senate said in a statement.

The government, with the Ministry of Mimit and Minister Urso, has done what others have avoided, overcoming stagnation and delays. This is industrial policy: decisions, not press releases or declarations. The request for a "control room" at Palazzo Chigi appears to be a clear diversion commissioned by President Todde: smoke and mirrors for businesses and workers to cover up the embarrassment of those in Sardinia who preferred not to make decisions.

Regarding the mobility exemption for Sulcis, Antonella Zedda writes, it hasn't been resolved "thanks to the Region's timely action. The reality is that only thanks to the Meloni government are the disputes in Sulcis being resolved, in this case at the proposal of Minister Calderone."
