In 2022, patients at the Duilio Casula Polyclinic will be able to count on a virtual assistant from the Public Relations Office of the Aou of Cagliari. Her name is Anna, she is in 3D, and she answers all the questions that citizens ask about the activities of the Aou, about the location of the departments, about visits, hospitalizations and exams. For the moment there will be two virtual stations, located in the two main entrances of the hospital, one on the ground floor and the other on the first floor of block C.

The project, strongly supported by the Extraordinary Commissioner Agnese Foddis and developed by the Communication and External Relations department, is based on the latest generation artificial intelligence capable of interacting with people, understanding their needs and learning and improving.

“This is an important project - explains Agnese Foddis - designed and built to help citizens and meet them, giving all useful information. Our Anna will be active 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and will interface with patients, carers and visitors. He will give all the information to reach clinics and departments but also any kind of useful information about our services ".

The Polyclinic thus becomes the first public structure in Italy to equip itself with a 3D virtual assistant, implementing the digitalization plan for communication and the Public Relations Office.
