Forza Italia is increasingly isolated from the centre-right coalition while the mayor's allies point the finger at Marco Tedde , leader of the Azzurri. «It is clear that he no longer knows how to justify to his people the fact of having made them fall into an abyss from which he does not know how to escape, of having isolated FI from the rest of the coalition, of having lost two departments and of having used this whole affair only in attempt to assert his supremacy over the Alghero CDX which he has lost for some time now without resigning", the harsh comment signed by the Reformers groups, Noi Con Alghero, Lega, Psd'az and Fratelli d'Italia who accuse Tedde of having " casually allied with the left-wing opposition."

Now the majority councilors who still support Mayor Conoci are asking Marco Tedde to reveal what would be "the advantages that are in the shadows today" to which the mayor's choices would tend and to which the former regional councilor had referred in a previous press note .

«Be explicit, get away from ambiguity and transversal allusions and do yourself and the city a favor by clarifying what otherwise are just insinuations which certainly do no honor to those who make them and dig an ever deeper furrow in Alghero between that part of Forza Italia that still follows him and the centre-right. We repeat that we are not excluding any political force from the majority but that in the majority the rules and allies are being respected, and above all the voters who voted center-right and today see FI voting with the left", concludes the statement from Conoci's allies.
