For Alessandro Deiola, who just turned 27 today, there could not be a more special gift. The San Gavino midfielder, in fact, has extended his contract with Cagliari until 2025. The previous link of the midfielder had in fact a deadline of 30 June 2024.

Deiola, who grew up in the rossoblù youth teams, made his debut with the Cagliari shirt on 7 September 2015, also scoring a goal in the 4-1 trimmed at Crotone. For him, a total of 104 appearances and 9 goals with the rossoblù shirt. This will be his seventh season with Cagliari.
