A Sardinian in the global DIY "Hall of fame" . He is Cosimo Fadda , 84 years old, honorary president of the CFadda Group , a successful entrepreneur and iconic figure in Sardinia, for decades at the head of a small empire which now has twelve points of sale, the online shop and a dedicated app.
Fadda was among the guests of honor at the 10th Global DIY-Summit in Rome , where the Global DIY Hall of Fame was launched, a new initiative intended to celebrate the protagonists of DIY worldwide.
«Cosimo Fadda represents excellence in family-run retailing», said the organizers during the award ceremony. «The Italian DIY and DIY market continues to be driven by these types of family-run “hardware” stores, and we can think of no other individual who deserves the DIY Retail Legacy Award in Italy more than Cosimo».
