Boom in participation at the 17th City of Sassari International Literary Prize (Plics): works by 336 authors arrived. Of these 120 are novels, 75 volumes of poems. A fact that demonstrates the growing diffusion and credibility, as well as the presence at the Turin Motor Show as a selected project.

The technical jury and that of the schools, made up of 4,000 students, will independently judge the works of the five competing sections: published poetry dedicated to Angelo Mundula, unpublished poetry dedicated to Maria Carta, short fiction dedicated to Salvatore Mannuzzu, novel dedicated to Sergio Atzeni, songwriting dedicated to Marisa Sannia. The winners designated by the technical jury will be announced in September, and those of the school jury in November. The awards ceremony will be held between the end of November and the beginning of December.

The City of Sassari International Literary Prize is an integral part of the October in Poetry Festival, also conceived and directed by Leonardo Onida.
