Anxiety for Zdenek Zeman . The former Cagliari coach entered the Policlinico Gemelli in red code this morning and is currently hospitalized in neurological intensive care for cerebral ischemia .

The 77-year-old Bohemian coach reportedly showed signs of dysarthria (loss of the ability to articulate words normally) and hyposthenia (loss of muscle strength) in his right leg. However, hospital sources say, "he is alert and cooperative."

For a few days Zeman had been suffering from a strong flu syndrome that had alarmed his family, also due to his health conditions. In fact, the Bohemian coach suffered an ischemic attack last October and a few months earlier had had to leave the Pescara bench due to heart problems.

The Bohemian coach, remembered for his champagne football in Foggia and Pescara and for his experiences on the benches of Lazio and Roma, was also the first coach chosen by Tommaso Giulini on 2 July 2014 : dismissed in December to make way for Zola, he returned in March but submitted his resignation in April.
