Zappa, spectacular brace: Cagliari catches up with Milan in the 89th minute at 3-3

One of the best versions of the season of Cagliari fights for ninety minutes against Milan: a brace by Gabriele Zappa for a sparkling 3-3, with the equalizer in the 89th minute.
Compared to Monday, Cagliari scored immediately: one minute and a handful of seconds for the first corner of the match, Viola took it with a header from Luperto to the far post and Zortea coordinated perfectly for a right-footed shot on the rebound that beat Maignan diagonally . The score was unlocked after just 63''.
Milan equalized in the 15th minute: Reijnders gave a great through ball to Leão, who rounded Zappa and lobbed it over the debutant Sherri for 1-1 . The rossoblù would have scored again in the 28th minute, a great pass to Piccoli who beat Thiaw and beat Maignan with a touch under, but the number 91 was offside.
Nice move by Cagliari in the 39th minute, cross by Augello and header by Zortea on the far post that Maignan blocks on the line. But on the following move Milan scores again: throw from the back again for Rafael Leão, badly positioned rossoblù defense and the Portuguese slips between Palomino and Zappa to skip past Sherri and score into an empty net . A minute later Piccoli is freed in the area, shot with a sure shot and Maignan saves the result.
Right at 45' Cagliari again with a long cross from Zortea from the right, Luvumbo deflects it with a header and Piccoli from two steps fails to correct it into the net again on an aerial play. The 2-2 would materialize in the second minute of injury time: cross from Augello, right-footed shot from Zappa and the ball into the net with Viola who almost hits it but it's offside and this goal is also disallowed. The ball probably would have gone in even without the touch of the number 10 .
In the second half Cagliari started very well and equalized in the 54th minute: Fofana made a mistake and touched it backwards, Zappa came in and his right-footed shot was a winner . This time without the possibility of it being cancelled out. Again rossoblù in the 63rd minute, Viola's corner and Piccoli's header was cleared on the line. On the other side Reijnders was served in the area with his left foot and sent it out.
