The Strait of Hormuz remains blocked, and attempts are underway to restart negotiations. The US president told Corriere della Sera: "The Italian prime minister doesn't care that Tehran wants a nuclear bomb. I'm shocked."
A second round of talks will be held in Islamabad: representing Iran are Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf and Foreign Minister Araghchi, while representing the US are Vice President Vance with Witkoff and Kushner.
