In the last 24 hours, Moscow's army has attacked Ukraine along the entire front line .

This was reported by the Kiev general staff in the morning report. The Russian military launched 13 missile attacks and 118 airstrikes, as well as 120 rockets , on Ukrainian troop positions and populated areas.

Condominiums and private homes were affected, as well as infrastructure. The Gostri Kartuzi unit of the Ukrainian National Guard's Omega special forces said last night that it had been forced to abandon some positions in the northern Kharkiv region due to the heavy Russian assault and that populated areas had come under enemy control.

However, Kiev reports "massive" losses for the Russians , with 1,260 casualties in battle in the last 24 hours.

In some areas the Russians have achieved partial success, while in others Kiev's troops are pushing back the enemy and improving their tactical position."

In the north of the Kharkiv region, where a heavy assault by the Russians has been underway for two days, the situation is gradually becoming complex, explains the latest report from the independent organization DeepState.

The Russian infantry, after taking the villages of Pletenivka and Ohirtseve, has reached the northern outskirts of Vovchansk and is attempting to open a passage. Kremlin forces are also trying to break through to establish control over Gatishche, Staritsa and Bugruvatka. According to DeepState, Moscow is progressively deploying more troops on Ukrainian territory and is steadily advancing in groups towards populated areas .

According to the US think tank ISW, however, the Russians are not trying to conquer Kharkiv, at least at the moment.

Meanwhile, during the night Kiev attacked two Russian refineries in Volgograd : the drones of the military special services hit the Kaluganefteprodukt plant and the Novolipetsk Metallurgy Plant in Volgograd. And the Russian Telegram channel Baza also reported the collapse of a building, which caused at least several deaths and dozens of injuries, including a child in serious condition .
