Following media leaks, Donald Trump confirmed that the United States has reached an oil deal with Venezuela. "The largest in history," the US president described it in Truth. The agreement grants Washington majority control of over 65 billion barrels of proven oil reserves in the South American country at no cost to US taxpayers.
"The United States just made a deal with Venezuela: the largest oil deal in world history!" Trump wrote on Truth. "At my direction, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, working closely with Venezuela's authoritative interim President, Delcy Rodriguez, and through a partnership with the private sector, have secured the United States majority control of over 65 billion barrels of proven oil reserves in Venezuela, at no cost to the American taxpayer."
"This historic deal," the tycoon emphasized, "more than doubles America's oil reserves, dramatically increases our oil supply, and will substantially lower fuel prices for all Americans for a long time to come, while helping to set Venezuela on a path to extraordinary success and great prosperity." "This agreement will greatly strengthen the already growing relationship between Venezuela and the United States," Trump concluded.
